This month, learn about Odysseas Sagredos’s journey as a music teacher in Greece as he discovered Hyperscore and its “magical” effects on the children he teaches.
Odysseas says he has been interested in both music and technology since he was a kid, and earned degrees in music theory, which then led to writing music for TV, theater, performing arts, and film. As an adult, he discovered “how exciting is teaching others, fulfilling the responsibility of guiding the social and emotional development of children.” He decided to obtain a masters in music education. From 1996-2003 he taught technology and engineering at the secondary level, and since 2003 he has taught music at the elementary level.
“The last 7 years I have been teaching music in the 3rd Primary School of Dionysos, trying to incorporate new technologies in the classroom and to implement effective strategies for teaching,” he says. “I was searching for new educational applications when I found Hyperscore! Later on, it became one of our main educational tools!”
“I can now help my students create various music compositions, regardless of previous formal music training, engaging them in the learning process with an aesthetic and fun way.”

Office Hours are held via Zoom on the first Tuesday of every month. Our staff will share tips and updates to help you get the most out of Hyperscore, and we’ll answer your questions. Sessions will be recorded and posted on our YouTube channel.
